Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process insurance claims related to catastrophic events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate with customers in a compassionate and professional manner, providing support and guidance throughout the claims process.
  • Investigate and assess the extent of damage, loss, or injury to determine coverage and liability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, adjusters, and external partners to facilitate the claims resolution process.
  • Keep detailed records and documentation of claims activities and communications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their claims and answer any inquiries they may have.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

 

 A bit about you:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate information
  • Experience in administration, with high attention to detail
  • Skilled at multitasking and thriving in high-pressure environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities
  • Familiarity with case or portfolio management is a plus
