As our Paid Search & Affiliates Manager, you’ll lead and elevate our SEM and Affiliate strategies to new heights. In this dynamic role, you’ll take charge of driving performance across our campaigns while fostering strong relationships with internal teams, senior executives, vendors, and external agency partners. You’ll lead a highly skilled and experienced team where your leadership skills will be front and centre, ensuring the team stays aligned with company goals and hits key performance targets.
You’ll be hands-on in crafting strategic presentations, managing budgets, and developing joint business plans with our vendors. Collaboration is key, as you'll act as the central point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and seamless execution of initiatives. Your expertise will also play a crucial role in driving innovation and continually improving SEM and Affiliates performance, keeping us ahead of the curve.

Ways of working
Our HQ is on the Sunshine Coast (we’re in the office Tues–Thurs), but you could also work from our Brisbane office, in Fortitude Valley, and expected to visit our HQ periodically.
Key priorities
- Drive the SEM & Affiliates strategy to increase conversions, traffic, and overall business alignment.
- Manage and mentor a motivated SEM & Affiliates team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Develop strong relationships with vendors through joint business plans that enhance performance and value for Youi.
- Present performance and strategy updates to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and support through clear and persuasive communication.
- Own the SEM & Affiliates budget, delivering accurate monthly and yearly forecasts to optimise spending.
- Regularly test new strategies and drive innovation to improve SEM & Affiliates performance.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams for seamless data integration and campaign optimisation.
- Lead key vendor meetings to ensure alignment on goals and successful execution of initiatives.
- Align SEM & Affiliates activities with other marketing channels (SEO, CRO, Programmatic, Social) for consistent and effective campaigns.
- Oversee agency deliverables, ensuring resource allocation is optimised for both always-on and campaign-led initiatives.
About you
- Business/Marketing degree (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communicator who is able to produce and deliver C-suite level presentations.
- Have great understanding of other digital and offline channels and the role they play within the media ecosystem.
- Google Certifications.
- SEM and/or PPC experience, either client-side or agency-side (7+ years is a general indicator).
- Proven ability to drive PPC performance through guidance and coaching.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
- Experience managing agency relationships.
- Project management skills.
- Solid understanding of marketing processes and workflows.
- Proven ability to lead teams and achieve targets.
